As a school we are committed to ensuring that creativity, innovation and the use of appropriate new technologies help us to achieve excellence and enjoyment. This evolving website is an important part of the Holgate ICT / E-learning Platform Strategic Plan.A learning platform is a group of specialised tools accessed via a web page, and designed to aid organisations and their learning communities achieve their goals.
By developing our use of existing and new technologies we will enhance and extend the learning experiences of all our learners.
We are also trying to reduce the school’s carbon footprint by using technology to decrease the amount of paper we use in communicating with our stakeholders.
By using the website to access EducationCity.Com, SuperClubs PLUS and RadioAnyWhere the children will be able to learn both in school and at home. Parents and Carers will also be able to see the activities that are supporting learning, achievement and enjoyment.
