Aims and Values
Within section 1 of the Education Reform Act 1988, the Governing Body has a duty to do its job so that the curriculum of the school is balanced and broadly based and
“a) Promotes the spiritual, moral, cultural, mental and physical development of pupils at the school and of society; and
b) Prepares such pupils for the opportunities, responsibilities and experiences of adult life.”
