Hello everyone!
I hope you have all had a great holiday. Nearly time to come back to school!
I am so sorry I didn't get to say goodbye to my class on the last day. I hurt my back at the start of the day and had to go home. You have been a great class and I will miss you all. Thank you mums and dads for the lovely cards and presents you sent to me. I also want to say goodbye to our old year 4 children. I do hope you are all really happy at St. Joseph's.

I think the school had a wonderful year 2007-8. I especially love the masses and the childrens' pride in their individual involvement. The leavers mass was my introduction to St. Mary's and I find each one emotional. Also thought there were some fantastic events last year; to name the EU Day + Drumming workshop as my favourites. Looking forward to another wonderful year. Well done to all the teachers and staff... and of course the pupils.

The children have taken part in some great events at the end of last term and the beginning if this - including the Cycle for Mick and world peace day. Could we have a section on the website that shows some of the pictures of these events - and is updated regularly with new trip photo's for example.

Can't believe its nearly half term !!!!!

Hello boys and girls!
I hope you are enjoying your half term holiday.
I really enjoyed our fund raising event for CAFOD last Friday and I hope you did too. Thank you to you all for bringing things in for us to sell and bringing in your money to buy things! We haven't counted the money yet but I am sure we will have made lots of money to send. A special thank you to the Year 4 children who organized the event so well. I must mention Wilfrid class - we brought in the most silver coins - well done!

Hello everyone, I hope you had a lovely Christmas and have been enjoying the snow we have had during January. I have been enjoying being snowed in, sitting by a roaring fire and drinking coffee until the snow went away again!

1st time i've seen the site. looks good. I used to work at the school on yts, with mrs grieveson. I'm still in touch with her. in my last letter from her she reminded me that i didnt like her washing lines in class. amazing how we still think of things like that after 14 years. im married now, having our 1st baby in august 2010.
