Mortgage Offer

This is the document issued by a lender once a prospective borrowers' mortgage application has been accepted.

The mortgage offer contains the terms and conditions on which the mortgage is being offered. Most mortgage offers are only valid for a period of between three to six months. If completion hasn't taken place before the mortgage offer expires then a borrower may have to re-apply.
