Administration Fee

Some mortgage lenders charge an administration fee to cover their costs of administration and sourcing funds. This fee is often non-refundable if the mortgage application does not proceed. It is common for the administration fee to form part of the valuation fee and this part can be retained by the lender if the valuation does not proceed. Any fees charged by the lender would be disclosed in the Key Facts Illustration.
